Welcome to Entirely Kids Pediatrics in Frisco. Having a baby is a very exciting time in any parent's life, and if it is your first child, it is both an exciting and anxious time. To help relieve some of your stress, we offer a complimentary prenatal visit with expecting parents.
Why a Prenatal Visit with a Pediatrician?
There are a number of important reasons to visit with a pediatrician before the birth of your child. Here are just a few.
- Gives you, as parents, a chance to meet our pediatrician and our pediatric staff to make sure we are a good fit.
- It allows you to ask questions you may have about planning and caring for a new baby.
- It allows us to learn about your pregnancy, medical and family history, goals and concerns, so that we can provide better support to you and your growing family.
- It allows us to plan for the baby's important first day on this planet and the series of visits that typically occur during the first year of life.
- Peace of mind
If you deliver at Baylor Medical Center of Frisco, our office will be notified when you give birth. It is then our responsibility to have our pediatrician visit you and the baby within the first 24 hours after birth. This will allow us to examine your newborn baby and to answer any questions you may have regarding your new child. Our pediatrician will visit with you daily, examine your precious little baby, and eventually plan the follow-up in our office, often within 1-3 days after you and the baby are discharged from the hospital.
