How to Prepare for a Telemed Visit

In order to better accommodate our patients during these times, we are now offering telemedicine visits for your little ones. Please keep in mind that certain concerns are still better evaluated with an in-office visit and that you may still be asked to bring your child in if deemed necessary.

• Make sure you are in a quiet space with good lighting.
• For younger children, please try to schedule your telemedicine visit in
  between feeding and nap times to ensure the best cooperation from the child.
• Having a current weight and temperature (and if you are able, a heart
  rate and respiratory rate) would be helpful for the visit.
• Be aware that telemedicine does have its limitations, so we may still
  ask you to bring the child in for further evaluation if deemed necessary.
• Please check with your insurance provider for benefit information - all
  applicable copays, co-insurances, and deductibles will be applied.
